DEMOVERSIO

Intel® oneAPI Toolkit is a comprehensive development toolkit designed to help developers build high performance applications that scale across modern CPUs, GPUs and heterogeneous computing environments.

The toolkit includes industry leading, standards based compilers, performance optimised libraries, and advanced tools for profiling, debugging and code analysis. With support for SYCL®, C++ and other open programming models, developers can create portable applications that run efficiently across a variety of hardware platforms.

For engineering and scientific computing, Intel® oneAPI also includes the Intel® Fortran Compiler, one of the industry’s most widely used compilers for high performance numerical applications. It enables organisations to modernise, optimise and maintain existing Fortran codebases while taking advantage of the latest Intel processor and accelerator technologies.

Whether developing edge applications, desktop software or large scale distributed systems, Intel® oneAPI provides the tools needed to accelerate development, improve performance and maximise hardware utilisation.

License Options

Single-Node vs Multi-Node

  • Single-Node: supported for use on laptop, notebook, desktop, PC, or workstation
  • Multi-Node: supported for use on laptops, notebooks, desktops, PC, workstations and distributed memory systems ie HPC clusters

License Types for oneAPI Toolkit

  • Named User License. Support for 1 developer
  • 2-seat Concurrent. Support for up to 10 developers
  • 5-seat Concurrent. Support for up to 25 developers

With oneAPI Toolkit the need for license server has been removed. Users must be compliant with Intel’s EULA and purchase the number of seats to match the number of users who need to use the software concurrently.

Who Needs It

C, C++, Data Parallel C++, Fortran, Python, OpenMP, and MPI software developers and architects building HPC, enterprise, AI, and cloud solutions • Developers looking to maximize their software’s performance and flexibility to support cross architectures on current and future Intel® platforms.

  • Academic
Degree-granting institutions only; colleges and universities that teach students in higher education towards earning a degree
  • Commercial
All other users, including government and non-profit institutions that are not degree-granting

Supported platforms

Intel oneAPI Base & HPC Toolkit is offered with support for Windows and Linux. Support for both platforms are included with each license.

Languages

Intel oneAPI Toolkit is offered with support for Fortran, C++ and Data Parallel C++. Support for all described languages is included with each license.

Transition to Intel oneAPI Toolkit 2026

With the Intel® oneAPI 2026 release, Intel is consolidating the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit and the Intel® oneAPI HPC Toolkit into a single offering: Intel® oneAPI Toolkit.

The new Intel® oneAPI Toolkit brings together the capabilities previously delivered through the separate oneAPI Base Toolkit and oneAPI HPC Toolkit into a single, consistent toolkit. The information below is intended to help current oneAPI Base and oneAPI HPC Toolkit users understand the transition to Intel® oneAPI Toolkit. The same core development tools are now provided through one unified toolkit, with some components available as standalone downloads.

Depending on which toolkit you are currently using, your product upgrade path forward is as follows:

Transition to new Intel oneAPI Toolkit 2026

If you have active oneAPI toolkit support, your support remains in place, Priority Support continues without interruption. Your upgraded entitlement will establish access and support for the Intel® oneAPI Toolkit.
