ATLAS.ti 26.0 released
(24th March 2026)
ATLAS.ti 26.0 makes memos a first-class part of your qualitative analysis. You can now code directly inside memos, link reflections to quotations elsewhere in your project, and organise every project item (documents, memos, codes, and network views) into folders. The release also tightens up transcript export and resolves a set of reliability issues reported by users.
What’s new in version 26.0
Code in Memos
Memos are now fully codable sources. Select text, apply codes, and use the margin view exactly as you would in a document. Memo quotations feed directly into Concepts, Opinion Mining, Word Frequency, and the Query Tool — so analytical work that starts in a memo carries forward into all your downstream analysis without extra steps.
Quotation Links from Memos
Link reflections written in a memo directly to quotations in documents or other memos. The connections show up in the Network Editor and Quotation Reader, so you can navigate the relationship between your interpretive notes and your primary data in one place.
Folders for All Project Items
Documents, memos, codes, and network views can now be organised into folders with drag-and-drop support across the project explorer, managers, and analysis tools. Items with identical names can coexist in separate folders — useful for projects with parallel cases or comparative structures.
Transcript Export
Transcript export now includes both the transcript text and the associated multimedia file in a single operation.

New Code Co-Occurrence Tools
One of the most essential analysis tools is in our code co-occurrence section. ATLAS.ti 23 brings the next level of this popular analysis feature – with big improvements that will make your analysis more powerful, simpler, and fun.

Visualize like never before
The new results view shows overlapping co-occurrences in a clear and easy way, saving you from jumping into the document for context. But you can still do that if you want. You can change your coding from this view too.
Explore and visualize co-occurrences in an easy way A new visualization option displays co-occurrences on an interactive map: This lets you find clusters of co-occurring codes fast, share stunning and informative graphs of your research, and have fun with your data.
Save precious time
Finally, we’ve made it simpler to explore co-occurrences from your data. Right-click on any code or multiple codes, pick one of the new analysis options, and they will take you to the co-occurrence tool – with the right selections and options for you. This great time-saver lets you explore your data more freely.
Advanced Auto Coding powered by AI
The automatic coding tools have been improved with the new co-occurrence tools.
Use advanced search
ATLAS.ti 23 includes full-text search with word forms and synonyms, name and emotion detection, and search with patterns. These strong machine-learning methods work offline on your device.

Use natural language processing
With ATLAS.ti 23, the auto-coding tools are better at searching only coded quotations. For example, you can now find and auto-code all quotations with a certain code by their emotion with a few clicks.
